Easter in the Northwest

True to form, Easter brought torrential rain, making the Easter egg hunt a little soggy. Luckily we were prepared and brought the rain boots.

Pee Wee Picasso

Here's a few pics from Lucy's latest art class. As well as a smiley face that she drew today - she's advanced to drawing "eyeballs."

My Little Marathoner

Lucy decided she needed to go for a run today. Needless to say, she had to pick out the perfect running outfit, and you can see what she came up with. She got her fashion sense from her father.

Toddler Carnival

Today, we ventured out in the rain to our Toddler Group's annual carnival. Lucy's BFFs, CJ and Alexcia, joined us. They had a blast!

Lucy and her ABCs

Lucy started singing (finally!) on Sunday - while she should've been sleeping, she was singing her ABCs. We caught it on video a few days later.

More Winter has arrived

We woke up this morning to another 2 inches of snow, but it's melting fast, thank goodness. I'm tired of the cold - luckily, last week, we had a few spring like days so Lucy and I ventured out to the park and the lake. She loves seeing the ducks, finding shells and throwing rocks into the water. She did this continuously for about 2 hours last week.

Naps are pretty much gone, although she's blissfully asleep right now. Weird to have quiet in the afternoon again.

I'm feeling pretty good, almost entering the dreaded 3rd trimester, but hanging in. Apparently, I'm huge due to the amounts of comments I'm getting regarding my size, although I'm smaller than I was with Lucy at this point.

New Year's in Chelan

We spent the New Year's in Chelan at Darrin and Lisa's house. It was really a great time. Ryan and I relaxed and Lucy had a blast playing with her friend, Alexcia. There was about 2-3 feet of snow on the ground, so it was all about more sledding, more snow angels, snow forts, and snowballs.

We got back to melting snow on this side of the mountains, but on Sunday night, it snowed another 3 inches. However, most of it has melted now and we just left with a few piles of dirty snow.

Also, had my 20 week doctor's appointment today, which, as usual, was completely uneventful. 20 down, 20 more to go...
